Chancellor Carnesale will review U.S. national security policy
in a post-9/11 environment, and will offer his views on future
directions for U.S. national security policy.
Chancellor Carnesale is a leading expert on foreign and
defense policy matters, having served as a consultant to the
Executive Office of the President; the Departments of Defense,
Energy, and State; the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency;
and the Director of Central Intelligence. Dr. Carnesale also
participated in the U.S. delegation to the Strategic Arms
Limitation Talks (SALT I, 1970-72).
